About A BOOK OF PAGES

A BOOK OF PAGES was a publication designed by VIA DESIGN with contributing texts from artists Martin Vincent and Padraig Timoney, published on the occasion of my first solo exhibition “Great Art”, 5th October - 4th November 2002 at The International 3. Using the contents page as the basis of this section of the website, A BOOK OF PAGES brought together a period of works from 1994 to 2002, that explored British-Chinese experience - my own and others, my interest in popular culture - fashion, photography and film, and especially the photographic image in a printed or published form - from fashion catalogues and magazines, Chinese newspapers, youth magazines, to art product catalogues, everything began with a picture.
