TOWARDS MEMORIAL
SELF 1892 Wall Display
The photo story of a pair of The Carpenter Sandals walking through Sheffield city centre developed in collaboration with photographer Mark Howe. The sequence of five images suggests an encounter with another sandal wearer, as if the moment Carpenter met his long term partner George Merrill. During exhibition, the SELF 1892 Wall Display used reprographic half-tone pixilation where each unit of colour, (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) can be viewed, and remnants of the SELF 1892 Poster applied to the vinyl surface.
